Hi, I'm Calli, a new media artist who combines photography, video, and creative programming to design surreal, immersive experiences. Inspired by the relationship between photography and nostalgia, my early fascination with the camera exposed me to the idea that technology can serve as a creative tool to capture, augment, and create. My current work leverages new technologies in a variety of forms ranging from web applications to interactive installations.

I received my Master's degree from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) and was selected to continue my work in the department as a Resident Researcher. I was chosen as an IAC Fellow where I created practical and playful installations for Vimeo's 2012 Awards Festival . I created and launched ThrowBack, an mobile photography application that sends photographs into the future bringing the nostalgic experience of finding a forgotten photo to the smartphone world. I am passionate about teaching and am currently a guest faculty member at Sarah Lawrence College and NYU's ITP. My work has appeared in the Dumbo Arts Festival and has been covered by Wired Magazine, TechCrunch, and ABC News.

I am currently a front end engineer at Yarn, a startup at the Samsung Accelerator. Originally from Bethlehem, PA, I currently reside and work in New York City.
